Such a well written novel! Captures your attention in the first few chapters and then it's hard to put down. Surprising with such a difficult topic so many have had to deal with. What a hopeful view of dementia though! Did you know comfrey helps wounds heal faster? Me either, but now I do.

I absolutely loved Eva Gordon. I found her more sympathetic than Olive Kitteridge. Her story is heartwarming and hopeful, despite making me cry. If you have someone with dementia in your life, you really need to read The Forgotten Life of Eva Gordon!

Remember the Pulitzer Prize winner Olive Kitteridge? Well, Eva Gordon brought Olive to mind within twenty pages. So well-crafted, and more: Where Olive gives pause, Eva captures. She and the rest of the characters landed in my bones, guts, heart, and took up residence. This is a memorable, utterly beautiful story about perspective, loss, and hope.
