I was glad to have a new bible. I particularly ordered the Large Print to easily read the words without eye strain, but I immediately noticed the ghosting is terrible. Honestly, I get cross-eyed just looking at the pages so how can I read this bible. The quality of the paper is too thin. You can see the letters behind the page you are reading. The burgundy bonded leather cover is perfect and looks very nice, but the printing inside is horrible. Zondervan should maintain the readability of their bibles like before. Actually, compared to my old bible that I have been using for years, the letters themselves are not printed really clear even more on the red letters. Or maybe it is the font style. Plus add the ghosting of the pages. I do not recommend buying this NIV bible. Back to my old bible.

i am enjoying this large print Bible as my eyes are not what they used to be. its very slim and a nice size, eady to tote around, and the words are not tiny. I bought it for the special font it has, very clean looking and easy on the eyes. Definitely more aesthetically appealing and easier to read than typical typefaces. Pages ate thin but good quality. Very pretty cover, too.

I just received this Bible today, and I must say that I very pleased. It actually exceeded my expectations. The Bible is beautiful and has large, dark print. The one thing to note is that gilding isn't the tone of gold in the picture, it's a lot lighter, almost a dusting of it, if that makes sense; which, in my opinion looks better with the pastel-like colors of the cover. The shipping was fast, and it was packaged very well. I really love everything, especially the ease of reading with the larger and darker print. Thank you so much!!

This was the first gift I opened for Christmas and I could not have asked for anything better! Easy to read and understand Gods word for us all. Truly a blessing to recieve for Christmas.

Purchased for my husband who was having a harder time reading his standard print NIV. The 12 point text is wonderful especially for those of us with tired eyes after working all day. and there was nothing imperfect about it
