Although I have read through the Bible several other times, it can sometimes feel like checking something off of my to do list without going deeper and growing more in the Word. The Bible Recap and Study Guide have changed that. I am more focused on what I read in the Bible. The questions in the study guide encourage me to dive in to the scripture and grow not only in my understanding of Gods Word but also grow my faith and love for God, his character, his Word, and His Son.

The Bible Recap Study Guide: Daily Questions to Deepen Your Understanding of The Entire Bible is a companion to The Bible Recap podcast and reading guide (here is my review). This is 378 pages long and is designed for 365 days. Each day has five questions for you to answer. Things like who wrote the book, why did something happen, what's the literary style, who is the audience, why was something written, etc.

I'm a huge fan of The Bible Recap and was super excited when I discovered a study guide AND a journal were coming out this year. I love how The Bible Recap follows a chronological Bible reading plan that only takes 15-30 minutes to read each day. Tara-Leigh Cobble helps you see the entire picture of the Bible and how God uses every story for His grand story. I highly recommend her work!

It asks very pertinent quesions regarding the daily reading. About 5 questions each day. Does not take long to complete, and places emphasis on important points.

This is different than the average study guide for a Bible Study. The author does a good job of asking questions that encourage a thoughtful appraisal of the reading. There are contextual as well as application questions on interesting details that might normally be missed in a casual reading of the text.

Very satisfied. Book is as advertised.
